From Sibu to reach my "kampung", there are two different transport that can be use. Speed boat is one of it and it is faster than the "boat express". However, the fare is more expensive than the "boat express". If using speed boat, it will takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes to reach my village from Sibu and the fare is only RM25. Compare to the other one, it will takes about 3 hours with fare RM15. But the problem with speed boat is, there is only one speed boat available that reach my village. If you missed the speed boat then you have no choice, you have to use the "boat express".
The photo was taken at Sg. Kut Muara not at my kampung. This speed boat was going to Dalat Bazaar. I have the opportunity to take a photo of it so i just take a shot.

Sad to see the condition of "boat express" now, inside and outside. It's no more like the good old days when it was like an Air Asia cabin inside plus TV and good air conditioning. The speedboat may be faster but sometimes the seat is next to the twin 200 HP machine! Btw, my choice will be speedboat when time vs comfort is concern.
ReplyDeletePPS -- Yes, i forgot to mentioned the poor condition of "boat express" now. I think only one boat that is still in good condition, the Zin Zin Express. I think because SMK Batang Igan charter this boat for their students so they have to maintained the boat condition. I prefer to use speed boat too..:D

ReplyDeleteMapun kapong ko dibei ngak bei alun ienlah kamek agei pebak speed boat. speed boat jegum express singelan wak nebak kamei mapun Sibau. Mun mapun Dalat pebak salui kamei debei. Labik gak Sg. Kut kenah la pebak van sewa mapun Dalat. Isolated bha kapong kamei. Dibei aruh labik ngak.

ReplyDeleteSince transfered mapun Matu 3 bulan ngak, ko debei ngak sepet jungat Kebuaw. Idak tan wa ba telabau @ rudeng jegum lo adek kakak @ JKKK kelo giin. Paya tan dao kah? Migu ih Matu ba tapok udei, anum benung upat!! Tapi bila tapok, tekilik murah...RM6.00 sekilo.

ReplyDeletePPS -- bei lian na'ah mapun lah kapong kamei. saji idak sau bak rudeng lo JKKK kamei gak gien. Lo segak2 ko min kawak ien. Uncle, cousin ko...lagipun jalan wak ninak bah buta kapong ien dei approve sau ta'ah ko. tapi ko eran kawak, nau hal menak aruh alang2 angai kejien. buyak nau dei senabong terus gak sg. kut? mun sabong terus kankah kapong kamei akan connected to Sg. Kut and the connected to Dalat kawak lah. ntahlah...ien just my thinking.. curious bha.
